Is there a specific time to appear for the interview for passport renewal, also what happens next? Do I wait for it or go back to the mid west and it will be mailed to me? There isn't a lot of information on the site

Just make sure you get there early, make sure you aren't rushing to anywhere because it might take you up to 4hours. They will let you know when to come back for pickup usually 4 to 6 weeks after, but you can have it mailed to your house or pay for fast tract I'd you need it like a week. I will not want this Embassy mail anything to me because they are not organized. When it's time to go back for pickup, make sure you have your pickup slip and old passport without those item they will not release the new one, I made the same mistake and I paid for it. Yes...be ontime, actually. People are usually outside even before the embassy opens. And people are processed on first come first serve basis. You have a choice to pick up your passport when it is ready or have it mailed out to you (you have to supply an envelop and stamp)

Thanks so much for the help. I had missed the first interview date so I had to reschedule and buy pricey plane tickets. It's an expensive hassel but it has to be done(for love of naija)
