We took our parents to get a visa. There were 3 appointments scheduled. Finally aftet the third appointment it was processed. Theynpaid for expedite delivery. Their trip to Germany was scheduled to happen on 10.19.22. They never got their passports or visa back so, we decided to go to the office where everything was processed on, the address 650 Massachusetts Ave. In DC. We got there today and only one out of the two visa were processed and ready. The passport was just sitting in the office. No plans to be send to them. The ir trip scheduled for tomorrow. Second visa was never process. It was given back to us so, now all the money on tickets, hotel, and all otjer.trips planned are ruined. All the times spended driving to DC, work everything is lost. The perfect vacation completely ruined. No one is going to be held responsible or accountable for not doing their jobs. If I could give them a cero starts I will.

You need to get a visa to go to Germany
Depends on the country. Assuming you are talking about Americans, yes you can be both an American and German citizen. If you are Turkish however, you must give up your Turkish citizenship to become German.
Best thing to do is call us department of state.
Yes there is a train that will take you into Frankfort. You see some sights for about 2 hours. But give yourself plenty of time to get thru security
You will probably get it in the respective "Standesamt" - you can call them, usually most Germans are speaking english. I am sure you can apply for it even from the US. However I am not sure about how to prove your identity.
No u dont need a visa as long as u dont want to leave the airport.
Am international Student in Virginia Wanna apply for tourist visa os that possible
If you are a US citizen and you are not vaccinated, you need a negatif pcr covid test to enter Germany.
As a US citizen you should be able to travel just with your passport and shouldn't have to go through the Visa application process. However, I would recommend checking out the website, they have laid out the process (under the tab for US citizens) in detail. Good luck with your travels!
Since you say she's a citizen of both. If she's in the US right now. For her to travel to Germany all she needs is her blue passport(US) With that she can travel to almost every european country without applying for a visa . Including Germany. All she will need is a flight ticket and boom she's in Germany. And when she's coming back. The same US passport and a flight ticket👍
There is on street parking just outside the embassy.
I'm not sure how many days before expiration. You can go to honorary consulate, if they have any in your area. You can bring your driver's license or cable bill. You can look up online to see what consulate is responsible for your area.
Try to send directly an email to the consulate.
Since 03.12.2015 free entry for 90 Days. Willkommen i
Permits have expiration date, so check and see if it's still valid.
I lived in West Berlin from 1963 to 1966.
Where u born in a German hospital in Germany?
If you hold indian passport and have more than one stop (Frankfurt- Munich), you need a transit (schengen)visa. If you hold Indian passport with and only have one stop (Frankkfurt), you dont need a Schegen visa but you need to have a valid US visa (H1B).
Best way is going to the Embassy by scheduling an appointment on the internet. You will also find lots of other information there
Make an appointment with the embassy or call they will let u know all the requirements are.
Yes go to the German Embassy and get a visa
U need to have documents saying u changed your name to your husband. You can be issued a new passport reflecting your husband last name.
Not an employee of the German Embassy but from experience I'd say yes, you'll need a transit visa
Eric, I can't say you about Switzerland, but I have experience in Germany. You can buy tickets earlier if you know already your trip timing and get it very cheap. You can across the Country for €29. www.bahn.com I lived in Germany 7 years till 2018. Maybe it's better to use German website www.bahn.de
Hello. First field the online application, and book your appointement for interview at the embassy. Proof of employement, last 3month bank history, flight reservation showing his itenary. I have the Green card and I would like to go to Germany for 2 weeks and the one who invites me does not have a nationality.
Yes you will need that. That's one of the requirements.
Call the German Embassy
What green card?
Normally you dont have to but there are some guidelines you need to follow and the embassy can be an assistance to you..
Unfortunately you have to go there in person.
I would tell you to get in contact with the us embassy in Germany. I dont believe the German Government is responsible for us citizens living in Germany.
Call the German Embassy. Talk to them is best way to go
Can a green card holder get a visa to Germany
Its not open to the public.
Not sure. Call the embassy
Ask the city for a birth certificate, if they can get it then you'll know the answer..
Go to the city hall where you got married, they should have it on file. Ask for New certificate
Hey Brigitte, did you ever find out how to book a white house tour?? I'll be visiting in September and it's a bit confusing to me.. Thanks and greetings from Düsseldorf.
Yes you need a transit Visa for the Frankfurt airport. But you can call the embassy of Germany in the USA.

Yes.
What Luca said isn't corect at all. You can get a German Passport when you had a German husband who live in Germany. But when your Cousins Hausbank is a german you can't get a german Passport. But you can Askese the german Ambassy in Washington.

If you get back your visa on hand before you leave you good.
