It's impossible to schedule an appointment on the website. Disregard the website, get all documents necessary and fees in cash, go to consulate 4am (except Wednesdays), and wait till they open at 9am. You need to go there this early to make sure you will be one of the 5 people. Consulate only accepts 5 Passport applications per day without the impossible appointment. You will walk out with Passport in your hands on the same day.

Go on their website and schedule a passport renewal appointment and bring the list of required materials on the page. Bring two copies of your paperwork and cash or money order and postage for when they send you your passport.
