My partner who needed a Schengen visa had a terrible experience applying through the Austrian Embassy. They requested more information and made him book a hotel for the day of his flight (even though he wouldn't be landing until the next day), and didn't acknowledge his email with the information. He had to follow up repeatedly before they responded two weeks later, 10 days before our travel date, saying they didn't know if they'd be able to process the visa in time because "of his nationality" they had to "consult with Schengen partners." For a tourist visa for one week. Awful and I can only conclude racism played a part in their lack of action, either that or they are completely incompetent. As a UK citizen, I'm shocked by the visa application process and how little they cared that we had to cancel our trip just one week before we were due to leave. Never go through this Embassy if you can avoid it. Terrible human beings with zero empathy.

If you're going to lock your people down in a tyrannical grab for power and against any kind of freedom known to man, your embassies will get one star reviews.

Hi, My name is Trevor Harrison Kelley. I was wondering if I could enter Austria without a visa using the 90 days. I was also wondering if I can go there without needing a return flight? If I leave Austria and come back does my 90 days renew?

If you're a US citizen you get 90 days through the Schengen Agreement
