Have only positive impressions of visiting Consulate. Everybody are friendly and helpful starting from security guard to mr Consul himself. Really had a great experience of visiting the place. The only one thing that potentially could make you a headache is to get an appointment for visit. Took me two months 😁. But it’s not an issue if you have time. Good luck everyone.

I don't know how to even start. If I could leave negative stars I would. We had an emergency where we were trying to find out how to expedite a visa process for my elderly grandfather, who has a heart condition and is trying to get out of US to see his cardiologist. My grandfather flew here for 2 weeks, with adequate amount of medications for that period of time. At the airport he was denied boarding due to not having a visa, we never had this issue due to always flying transit through Poland, however due to ongoing war in Ukraine they had to drive into Poland leaving their car there. Therefor they have to fly into Poland to get to their car to drive back home to Ukraine. I emphasized that the reason we need to expedite the visa is because my grandfather has an appointment with his cardiologst in 6 days for a cardiac procedure due to new onset of his symptoms, I also specified that he is running out of his medications since the refills are at home, and i explained the possible risks of not takin this medications. To which they answered me "that is not a justifiable reason, and that i am switching up my story, and choosing not to fly through another country because it is not convenient to me", I tried explaining that if we could fly through a different country we would, however any country they fly through they will face the same issue because their personal vehicle is parked in Poland. I tried calling the consulate they hung up on me 2 times, when I tried emailing them again to get further information who I can contact they told me they will no longer answer to my emails. I tried to explain that this delay can cost my 78 year old grandfather his life, however the response I go back " your request was denied, it is not a justifiable reason". I'm glad to know that Polish consulate doesn't care for human life.

Hi, I'm the owner of Marco Polo deals with several business categories
Probably no, I was in 2015 and I did not need it
Mr. Marek, could you fly to Poland in October 2020 for an American passport for Polish pickup. I am in exactly the same situation as the Lord. My passport is waiting for me in Poland from September 2019, because due to the pandemic, traveling in 2020 was impossible. Please let me know if you have been admitted to Poland on an American passport. Current information indicates that they only allow valid Polish passports. But how to do it when a valid Polish passport is in Poland. Like you, I also have a certificate to collect my Polish passport and an ID card. Thank you in advance for sharing your experience.
Hi! To make an appointment, go to this website and follow the instructions. www.e-Konsulat.gov.pl

Hello you can contact Polish Consulate via email either in Washington DC or NYC. On the website you should be able to find some links and email address. If you know the town your relative died you can try to contact the city hall but your best bet is the Consulate. Good luck and sorry for your loss.
If you never got fingerprinted, you have to be there in person to do so. Beside driving you can take train or bus if it is available. That is what I did last time and consulate is 14 minutes walk from Penn Station.

It is difficult to book an appointment. A passport valid for 10 years takes about 10 weeks, while a temporary passport can be collected on the same day
Please contact a Los Angeles General Consultant who has California in their district. In the current situation, a Polish passport will be indispensable. At the moment, the quarantine does not apply to Polish citizens
Google is your friend.

You can not renew your identity card at the consulate, only a passport, you can start the procedure of making proof via the Internet, so-called EDOR, but you can still pick it up at the office in Poland
