They will do absolutely nothing for you. The men have their side the women the other side. You get assigned to a recliner and you sit there doing nothing. There is a water machine, but you have to ask for a cup. There are a couple of bathrooms, but have to get permission to use it and they have to unlock the door to let you in, they are gross. It is the most degrading, humiliating place to be. And be very careful and alert because the less mentally stable patients like to beat up on anyone they see fit, even if the person is sleeping. They evaluate you, see where you're at and what your needs are. They will also help you with placement if you're in need of it.
CBI is bottom of the barrel. The worst. Try Quail Run up in Deer Valley
Theyre going to put you in a room with about 80 other mental health patients of varying degrees of issues and youre going to spend about 15 minutes of the next 72 hours in that room talking to someone. There are no windows, books, games, or pens. Good luck staying entertained.
