I had surgery on September 16th, 2022. My surgeon was Dr Namita Kothari. She is the best doctor in the whole world... I had seen her a few times but was reluctant to have surgery. She was patient and understanding, took her time to explain thinds. She and her team were just amazing. The nurses were amazing. I am so grateful to have her as my doctor. As I told her in person, her, those incredibly, talented, magical hands of her belong to humanity. They are a gift from above. THANK YOU DR KOTHARI 🙏

Was sent here by my pcp for a colonoscopy. Assumed it would be covered by insurance as a preventative procedure. A month later I get a bill in the mail. Call the insurance company and they say it was billed as a diagnostic procedure. Really? The insurance company even states that removing polyps during a colonoscopy doesn't make it diagnostic. The insurance company asks them to double check the codes. They insist that once a polyp is removed, it's no longer a screening procedure. Worst part is if they do consider this a "diagnostic " procedure, why did no one ever follow up to tell us the results? They don't care about the patients they just want $. Now I'm stuck with a bill. Biggest scam in town. Thank God we didn't agree to the endoscopy Dr Nadir tried to sell us. Yes I said "sell" because he was like a cashier trying to upsell. I truly feel sorry for anyone that is actually ill.

This RN nurse was absolutely hostile and disrespectful for no given reason. My mom was at this hospital for about 8 hours before I was able to finally talk to someone. Side note I live in Tennessee. I was FT my mother and this is word for word what he had to say. I asked if my moms labs came back okay if a certain test was done. He tells me if I want to know her medical records I can call Monday to the records office. Not only am I her POA but she is on the phone with me and she is also asking for what the tests results meant. He then goes on to say that the emergency rooms are for if you are having organ failure, missing a limb or having a heart attack. That what she is there for is not a emergency. My mom who is 67 and was fine 3 days prior had been having sever delirium and lower back pain and was taken by ambulance for a reason. The sheer disrespect and awful bed side manor is unacceptable. She was frightened didn’t know what was going on and for him to treat her in that manor was mind boggling. When I asked if I could speak to the doctor he said no she was being discharged. She also had to wait in the lobby for 7 hours afterwards waiting for multiple rides because not one person would assist her getting into a vehicle. The triage nurse Jessica said that they couldn’t take the attention away from other patients to assist. My mother lives in a assistant living facility and my siblings who usually help with things like this were across the country and I am located in Tennessee. So for them to speak and treat her the way she did when she literally had no one was absolutely unacceptable. The triage nurse also said that they have been beyond accommodating for her and that she needed to shut up and sit still. Which I have all on recording because I was FT her the entire time.

I was a recent Hospital resident and was so Pleased with my care: doctor, nurses, everybody. I am being treated for a serious condition now and am more than pleased. M

They currently allow 1 visitor at any hour so yes he will be allowed in.
You should be able to visit at any time. I believe that is the only unit that has no restrictions. Wishing your cousin well.🙏

Yes, they actually do have gastroenterologist with privileges at Mountian Vista. I would recommend looking at the qualifications of the GI you were referred to if you are concerned. Good luck and best wishes for your health.

I have never had a bad experience at Mountain Vista. From house keeping to my surgeon's. The experience was amazing. Fantastic staff!!!!

Well I think they do the best they can as one know all nurse's work very short handed please find in your heart they have real emergencies going on and it's always a waiting game if to be seen or wait for a test or results sorry your not being ignored they are really doing the best they can not sitting around doing nothing ! Really let's be nice to the nurse and all staffing they work so very hard sorry !
They have physical therapy services that are outstanding with a wonderful, knowledgeable, kind and caring staff! I have been going for treatments for a few months referred by an also awesome orthopedic surgeon right next store and my conditions have been steadily improving. They also give you a home exercise plan after doing them there that if you consistently follow at least three times a week help tremendously. You can fire them whenever you want, take a break, go back and they welcome you with open arms and ready to help. Their sessions are for 30 minutes. I highly recommend them for any and all physical therapy needs!
Statistics are not a HIPPA violation of a patients privacy. 98% of hosp in US have had 2 deal w/the Super Bug. I wanted 2 know how many this hosp had experience with.
