I am visiting my father in law in North Fort Worth and his neighborhood is overrun with feral cats. He stated that the city will not come and collect it assist with this problem. It is out of control and there are feces anywhere. It's a health hazard

Yup shelter only goes when you have the animal confined in a safe place, they don't want to waist their time chasing after strays or get hurt.

Try the animal shelter on Lancaster .in fort Worth. And tell them your issue.if that does not help call the the Court house and tell them .When we had that problem. We put traps out and caught the ones we could and called animal control to come get them. The other ones we caught after. We took in ourselves. Hope this helps you
