Volunteering used to be amazing with this organization. I began over 10 years ago. However JPerales doesn't reach out to volunteers as previous years coordinators did! It's unfortunate because 4-6 of our church members have continuously made attempts to work but cannot get timely response or in some cases no response.. We began well before the pandemic and haven't given up but it's a bit discouraging when we're tried so often including encouraging others to volunteer but there's little to no response.

Lisa Buck is in charge of the group that meets on Friday.

My husband recently was diagnosed with dementia/ alzheimers. Is excessive sleep a symtom of alzheimers? I’m an LVN but it’s different when it’s your spouse. I know some about alzheimers but very limited in my knowledge of it. Thankyou. Lavenia Holmes

No. Contact the Alzheimer's Association in Fort Worth. They have a great group that meets every Friday. It's an opportunity you don't want to miss out on.

The Fort Worth office is part of the national organization, but can perhaps accept donations to support local projects. The best answer is to call them in Fort Worth - they have an amazing team working there.
