My dog is old and he can barely walk or hold himself up I don't want him to suffer anymore. Do yall put dogs down?

You can request euthanization.. But once u owner surrender animal to the shelter it is ours.. Our choice. Whether we euthanize or send to an rescue.. Maybe even foster to live out last days.. If you would like more info please come in and we can better decide what is best for the animal..

I would suggest getting a 2nd opinion from a vet, before deciding relinquishing a member of your family He can give you options and If thinks it's time, then he can perform euthanization, in a more relaxed environment for your forever friend
