I'm 18 and still live with my parents, do I have to bring the home owner with me to be able to adopt a dog? And the base fee is $50 for adoption correct?

Well, if you are alredy 18 years of age technically you have reached the age majority required to do these kinds of transactions, it might not be necessary for you to bring the lan lord with you to the shelter if you bring an identification with you.
