I've been to visit a certain dog a few times and I've decided to adopt her. My apartments want a $400 fee, can pledge money be used for this?

Honestly, in my experience, adopters do not get the pledge money. Most pledges only go towards rescues, when the animals are "pulled" to safety. I've adopted dogs with pledges (not for the money, that'd be messed up) and never got anything. Also, most the time, people will "pledge" in comments, but when the dog is out the shelter they never stay true to those pledges. You'd honestly be better off just earning the $400 fee yourself, or even starting a "fund me" type campaign.

If I were you I would try to work as hard as possible to save the $400.00 on my own or I would set up a go fund me page and request donations through there because people promise to help you, but when the time of the truth comes they conveniently forget about their promises and ignore you. I hope that by setting up this go fund me page you can get enough money for this noble cause. Good luck!

It's best id u have a home and a fenced in back yard. If the dog causes damage w ur apartment u could lose ur $400.
