To the people saying there's Sandy beaches at Willow beach, have you actually ever even been there?? Don't think so. Anyway, no, there's no real sand and there's not much of a beach either! As someone already said, think Rocky shoreline. It's the last place I would recommend for sunbathing, tanning and most definitely NOT for swimming! The water stays a constant 53 degrees year around. It's a fishing resort, tried and true. No matter how the concessionaire trys to spin it otherwise. I have been going there since the 70's
Yes, but only small areas along the shore. Most people going kayaking. It's very rocky so take swim shoes and don't think of it as a typical "beach".
No sand but yes you could swim and tan there.
