There's not really much for hiking trails right at Willow beach, because upstream is restricted to the fish hatchery and down stream have some very steep mountains and cliffs. But, there are a couple of well maintained trails to the north of Willow, off of hwy 93. One of them is gold strike canyon, at the end is a hot springs pool. If you make any of the hikes down to the river, make sure to bring plenty of drinking water, even in the winter. Every year we lose hikers due to dehydration.
