This is a question only your medical provider can answer.
Everyone's situation is different and you should really ask your doctor about specific medications.
In the room there is a binder that has all the services and there is family social workers that you can ask any questions to if you can't get a nurse or doctor. Everyone is different depending on health etc so I would not recommend looking on Google because it could just freak you out. Some medications are used for a variety of reasons so google might say a week but that medication is treating more then one thing so they need it for a month (just am example I don't know what that med is, but my dad was on one that was supposed to be short term but because it was treating other stuff also he needed it longer). That booklet has a lot of family info in it so take a look and find the person you'd like to talk to. Also there is a guest menu in there and it's way cheaper then the cafeteria, but you have to pay with a card no cash for in room dinning. Good luck I hope everything goes smoothly, there is a prayer room so take advantage of that also.
You should ask it to your doctor
You will have to ask a a doctor. This website is not designed to answer medical questions. The doctors are great here though. Im a patient there myself.
I believe this is a question that will have to be answered by a doctor. I'm sure since like all cancer medications it depends on your labs from blood tests that helps Doctors make that decision.
