No not really occasionally you hear doors slam if you have your porch door open it creates a vacuum and your door will slam super hard if you don't watch it. Sometimes you'll hear the train but more so you'll feel the train Rock the building if it's going by fast and there's heavy Freight.
Its been very quiet for me. I hear more noise from the hallways than adjacent bedrooms. Once my bedroom is closed, i don't even notice that.
I can't hear anything through the walls but noise from upstairs is a different matter. I can hear every footstep. If I had known I wouldn't be able to sleep here because of it then I would have gotten a top floor apartment or found another place altogether.
