Not sure if it's brackish water or fresh. But you do need to be careful as it can make your dog very sick

Its fresh water, but does contain runoff from the nearby neighborhood. So I wouldn't let your dog drink from it.😁

Several times, I've seen owners with their dogs playing in the lake. To the best of my knowledge, it is fresh water.
