What a treasure of a place. We thoroughly enjoy paddling out in the little paddle boats for hire. Alligators, turtles, birds, freshwater clams, dragon flies... amazing place.

Beautiful park with tennis courts, playground, skate park and lovely trails to wander on.

Great place for all. 5mile loop for bikes, running, or walking. Gazebos for lunch, kids playground, paddle boats, wildlife. Great way to spend a few hours.

Love Love Love this park! This is one of my favorite places to visit in Wilmington. They have the walking trails, the pond with an abundance of turtles and a few alligators, the playground, rental paddle boats, a skate park, gorgeous lush landscaping, benches to sit on and shelters to sit under. So many different activities take place here such as weddings, MS Walk, etc. there truly is something for everyone! Very peaceful spot to sit and relax!

I think it's 2
I just talked to a park lady yesterday and she said paddle boats where only open Friday-Monday. I can’t remember exact hours but I think she said 12-5
Yes
I do not think you need reservations. If the boats are available, it's all yours
Yes they do but I'm not sure about the hours
I agree they need to do something about the bathrooms. Women's bathroom is disgusting and stalls need to be worked on.
No
Good question, probably temporary. I see the Kenan fountain ⛲ is on at 5th and market
7 days a week it's open and open all time of day. But at night don't want to be at the park at night harder to see the gators
I've seen them year round.
Yes
I would say that half of the park is relatively quiet and peaceful. The parking lot is right beside the road as well as a skating ramp and tennis courts, so that portion is always full of motor noise
YES.
The trail around the lake is around 5 miles i believe. Its a beautiful walk.
I think around 15 an hour. not for sure though.
