Went to the park only to visit the Gold Star Memorial monument. Absolutely beautiful monument. As a Gold Star Mother, it was a very moving experience to see it first hand.

Great area. The park has 6 pavilions, tennis courts, 4 ball fields, a few basketball courts, a volleyball area, plenty of trees to set up a hammock and a water park area. Two different trails (inner and outer). A lot of area for picnics as well. You can find two dog parks (one for big dogs and the other for smaller dogs), restrooms and plenty of dog waste stations.

Great park with so much to do. Baseball/softball fields, batting cages, tennis courts, play grounds, water park, 2 trails, a pond, ninja warrior course, basketball courts, a huge dog park, grills and covered shelters for BBQ's and events and grassy areas to frolic through. Plenty of parking everywhere. Worth a visit anytime of the year.

Love going here! Playground, baseball field, basketball court, etc. Different sidewalks to take a jog or walk. Dog park also in the park. Tons of great scenery with all the trees. Quick clean up after hurricanes. Tons of shade for hot days. Everyone is super friendly. My only complaint is the people who park on the grass right in front of no parking signs

There is a dog park, as well as several walking paths that people use to walk their dogs. I believe New Hanover County requires dogs be on leash when not in the dog park fence, and dogs are not allowed within a certain distance of the children's playground.

It's not specifically for biking, but you can definitely bike on it
Hi Marissa, fishing is not allowed at Long Leaf Park. You can fish at River Road Park, Trails End Park and Smith Creek Park.
