Seems this is a practice of theirs. I inquired on the Jamaican, got my results got my confirmation email 2xs, saying I'm staying in requested abd agreed on room. I get to the resort very late at night. And showed the girl my confirmation, she said NO YOU BOOKED THIS ROOM ITS IN THE DOMINICAN BUILDING. WELL I WAS TIRED HAD BEEN TRAVELING ALL DAY, AND TRAFFIX AND PACKING AND ALL THE STRESS. I JUST TOOK THE VALET SERVICE OFFERED ,I GUESS TO HUSH ME UP, AND WENT TO MY ROOM. I DID CHK IT OUT 1ST, IT WAS ACCEPTABLE AS COULD BE AT 1030 PM.SO IM THINKING DID I GET RIPPED OFF. I PAID A REALLY HIGH PRICE FOR WHAT IM THINKING SHOULD BE STANDARD. NOT AS DESCRIBED, AT ALL, NO ROOM CLEANING FOR 3 DAYS, TRASH OVER FLOWING. I HAVE ASKED FRONT DESK TO HELP ME WITH THIS, IM TOLD, YOU ONLY GET FULL CLEANING AFTER 3 DAYS, I BIT MY TONGUE. WHAT I PAID FOR THIS ROOM I GET SERVICE EVERYDAY ,THANK YOU.
The Jamaican is a part of the Caribbean resort. They have 4 different sections of the resort. Let me put it this way: Let's say you like the AFC conference over the NFC conference of NFL football. The AFC conference consists of 16 teams and is divided into four divisions — East, West, North, and South. Now let's just say the Jamaican tower is the Eastern division of the Caribbean resort, the Dominican tower is the Western division, the Cayman tower is the Northern division and the Chelsea house is the Southern division. They are all little pieces that make the Caribbean resort Just like East, West, North and South are all little pieces of the AFC conference of the NFL. Hope I didn't confuse you
Best hotel I have ever stayed at. Customer service was fantastic. If I needed something they would bring it too me and my fiance....the hotel is just amazing!!!
What building are the newer rooms located
I did too and the room is nasty and paid 200 a night to stay in something comparable to a side of the road hole in the ground 29.99 motel!
Yeah almost happened to me too. But I caught it in the fine print before it was too late and was able to cancel my reservation and book another one. In which I requested the main building I got confirmation that I would be staying at the Dominican Tower. Which is one of the two main buildings.
