My family and I came down for a week long baseball tournament and we stayed here at the Caribbean Resort for 11 days and everything was perfect! Ebony checked me in when we arrived and she was beyond helpful and so kind. She went out of her way to help my family get in our room a little early since we arrived so early in the morning. We were very grateful. The rooms were clean. Beds were comfortable. The view was fantastic! The restaurant next door has great food and service. The pools were clean and for such a huge resort, they were never over crowded!! We had a wonderful vacation! Lots of memories made!

Do not stay here. If you want hot water, or even water for that matter, this is not the place for you. Truly so disappointed. My family and I have been coming here for years. This is the worst stay we’ve ever had. In short, the following problems occurred from the day we got here to now: -No WATER on Sunday. Never received any notification. That is a necessity. -No hot water from Sunday-Wednesday. I was told by a manager that hot water was not necessary, and they did not know when it would be fixed. -One of the toilets in our room did not work. Called for maintenance, and they never came. -When we arrived there is a MASSIVE BROWN STAIN on our bed. The manager said it looked bad, photos were taken, but nothing was done to fix it except pile a bunch of sheets on top of it. So unsanitary. No other mattresses or rooms available according to the manager. -AC not functioning properly. One room is blazing hot, another room is freezing, cannot regulate the temperature. -When we’re paying thousands of dollars to be here to relax, all of these are necessities. -Little to no compensation for all of these major problems. -I have not been able to relax all week. My job is very stressful. We booked this months in advance. I needed a relaxing vacation. None of this has been relaxing. If the general manager sees this, please call us. We were told that we would be contacted by the general manager but still haven’t heard from her. I’m hurt and disappointed.

Overall experience was nice, and the resort (Jamaica building) was updated and a nice experience. The cost of our stay was reasonable considering we booked at the last minute. We had oceanfront views that were amazing. The location of the facility made us feel like we were in our own private beach condo with private beach access. It wasn't crowded at the resort because it was separate from the main towers. The beach access was not crowded and we had plenty of open space to set up on the beach. I loved it. The most important issue that I had with the resort is that it needs some aesthetic updating. The rooms were very nice, but the bulky, old, outdated concrete columns obstructed our view of the ocean, and balconies are starting to crumble from age. The outside definitely needs a facelift just as they have done the inside. The staff and housekeeping staff were very nice and helpful. I would stay here again.

I was worried after seeing all the reviews but I cannot say enough of how nice this place is. We got a ocean front suite. It was clean, spacious and the view is amazing. Anytime we needed anything, housekeeping would get it for us. Easy access to pool, slides, kids area and beach. Anytime we go out to beach or pool we were provided with clean beach towels. Parking is across the street in parking garage and everything is close by. The family had a blast!

Less than 5 mins. There's a new neighborhood Walmart on 38th. You could probably walk there.
Seems this is a practice of theirs. I inquired on the Jamaican, got my results got my confirmation email 2xs, saying I'm staying in requested abd agreed on room. I get to the resort very late at night. And showed the girl my confirmation, she said NO YOU BOOKED THIS ROOM ITS IN THE DOMINICAN BUILDING. WELL I WAS TIRED HAD BEEN TRAVELING ALL DAY, AND TRAFFIX AND PACKING AND ALL THE STRESS. I JUST TOOK THE VALET SERVICE OFFERED ,I GUESS TO HUSH ME UP, AND WENT TO MY ROOM. I DID CHK IT OUT 1ST, IT WAS ACCEPTABLE AS COULD BE AT 1030 PM.SO IM THINKING DID I GET RIPPED OFF. I PAID A REALLY HIGH PRICE FOR WHAT IM THINKING SHOULD BE STANDARD. NOT AS DESCRIBED, AT ALL, NO ROOM CLEANING FOR 3 DAYS, TRASH OVER FLOWING. I HAVE ASKED FRONT DESK TO HELP ME WITH THIS, IM TOLD, YOU ONLY GET FULL CLEANING AFTER 3 DAYS, I BIT MY TONGUE. WHAT I PAID FOR THIS ROOM I GET SERVICE EVERYDAY ,THANK YOU.
