It's about 4 miles total from parking lot to the falls and back. There are 2 marked trails to get to the falls; one along the river with some great views and another higher up the bank that makes for an easier trek.
There are two trails to take up, and the same two options to get back down. They are very easy, kid friendly easy, and both are about two miles long and lead to the falls. It's all shaded, there are a few slippery spots and muddy areas, but an absolutely beautiful hike nonetheless
