The road to this waterfall is gravel and very narrow. Basically one car. We were told the water appears turquoise and the rocks are orange. The water was definitely not turquoise (maybe that was due to the recent rainfalls) but the rocks are very cool to look at.

It's very beautiful and feary tail like. The surrounding forest was whimsical. Only thing, due to my disability/handicap I couldn't go visit/see the falls. The rugged path wouldn't allow me. Other that that, I LOVE THE AREA!!

My husband and I visited here years ago. We discovered the falls by accident and today we're pleased they have not only marked the falls but made them slightly more accessible. These falls are beautiful but not an easy climb down to. However, if biking or walking is more your style there is a marvelous trail available.

Also run off from acid mining from what I understand. I went down to the water, didn't get in
I would say to spend the night. Bring a small grill and get a camp site. The area is beautiful. Mother nature will not disappoint at any age.
Short walk ,but Very hard to get down to . I looked from the path ,but lot of trees in the way .
It's not an easily accessible touristy attraction. It's one that requires athletic ability to access which helps keep it less traveled and more wild in nature. Blackwater falls is the touristy spot with stairs to get to
You can backpack in food but there are no picnic tables or trash cans so what you bring in, you have to take out. I would also bring hand wipes.
No. Acid and pollution. Well you can swim there's no one stopping you but you'll turn into a creature
Im not sure, have you tried Googling it? 🙂
My husband has heart, back, knee problems. He did the short hike with minimal effort. There is a rope and a steep, short decent. It can be difficult for those that have trouble with steps or ladders.
