Adirondack Jim
An Adirondack gem with cool falls, swimming holes and an opening to lake george at the bottom. Its a wonderful experience for all ages. Bring water friendly, durable footwear-

Falls come up real quick from the parking lot but the trail is a decent length beyond, takes you along Log Bay for a little swimming if you'd like. Not really little kid swimming though.

Cute little falls. Not enough water to get into the water. It's a short hike from parking lot 1. 0.4 miles one way. You could also do the buck mountain trail via shelfing rocks. This is a 5 mile hike.

Easy hiking to short advanced trails. Beautiful.. Log jam bay on lake George is also accessible from the trails. Boaters are a little loud at times if you want a full nature only day.. But if you don't mind that a good 5 hours of trails and waterfalls await.

Just went a few days ago. They are open. They have up to 7 parking lots so don't worry if you can't park in the first or second one. Keep going on Shelving Rock road and you can park in the other lots. We parked in lot 3 which only had 3 other cars.
I believe so
It's groomed trails up until the steep part down to the bottom of the waterfalls... It is easily manageable but watch for tree roots as I rolled my ankle and had a major sprain as a result there.
20 minute walk to the waterfall. Continue walking 7-8min straight, past the guardrail entrance that leads to the falls to get to the mountain trailhead on the right. Mountain doesn't have much elevation gain, but can feel slightly steep if you're not used to walking uphill/ out of shape/ have young kids. TIME to top: 35min-1hr depending on fitness level. TIME Descending: 25Min-45Min. Coming down is always quicker.
No it is not.
I didn't notice, but then again I wasn't exactly looking. Nothing stood out.
The trails are pretty easy, we did it with our 2 and 4 year old. Obviously keep an eye on them as there are some drops
Yes it is open .parking sucks. Lot of people. Beautiful. Trail unmarked.
