We may suggest better components, especially if you state that you want the computer to perform very well in the latest video games. But we don't try to sell you something you can't afford; you'll just end up returning it and then we lose money. The beauty of Micro Center is that you don't need to know exactly what components you need. We'll suggest the parts that'll do what you want to do - so it is good to know what that is. We'll offer some helpful advice so you can build it yourself, or for $150 we can build it for you.
Just make sure you know exactly what you want to build otherwise they will take you to the cleaners and upsell the hell out of you on everything..... make sure you know your options
They can. If you want to build your own and get a sense for price points, go to logicalincrements for the latter, and pcpartpicker for the former. Pcpartpicker also has a compatibility checker
Perhaps get an idea of the things you want your computer to do before heading down. Maybe even familiarize yourself with the options and common builds that accomplish what you want by using PC Part Picker.
