Most of the time yes, also a lot of tech savvy people shop there so you can always ask someone if they know what you need. One thing is they will hound to help you if you're just browsing since they all want to put a sticker on your purchases.
Yes, the staff here knows a lot and can walk you through tons of stuff. If they can't, they will find someone who will.
For the computer parts there are some who don't know enough to really answer comparison questions/detailed questions, but I've never had an issue finding someone in the parts section who really knows details, down to memory clock speeds and recommendations for parts that work best together. They also don't necessarily try to upsell you every time, which is nice. They usually will give you a few options if you ask.
Never had a problem getting help or information.
Well if they are in the right mood, sometimes they are cranky and less helpful or accepting of less techy people
