The City Gates Church has truly blessed my life with its, Biblical standards, missionary work, Communion Services, Baptisms, Baby Dedications, a plethora of Bible/Faith Groups, and of course, The Word brought forth by Pastor Jeff on Sunday! Truly grateful to attend this Body of Believers in the Lord Jesus Christ!

Was hoping from reviews that City Gates was a serious gospel centered church. Unfortunately, I don't believe this is the case. I attended Passover Sunday service. The music was disappointing, lyrics vague and lacking theological content. They used the modern Baloche version of Blessed Assurance which has little theological meaning instead of the richness of the original Blessed Assurance. Only one song, Be Unto His Name, would I be interested in singing. But the main problem was that Palm Sunday AND EASTER Sunday sermons were not on Jesus' Passover entry into Jerusalem, or anything leading up to his trial and crucifixion, or His death and resurrection. Both sermons are on submitting to your govt based on 1 Peter. The most holy Christian holiday! I won't be back.
