Dallas Life gives clothes away to people who live there for free and the staff do not get the clothes. There is a clothing room coordinator who handles that stuff and distribute it. There are some staff who are in their workforce program who get clothes but they also live there.
They also give the clothing to some of the staff members too. They have first dibbs to the "basement"
They don't sell the clothing. It's there for the people who live there.
Just my opinion I only volunteer at this shelter. I also give them donated clothes I only see them providing donations to the families are ppl come in off tve streets. I have never seen them charge anyone for clothes are food and again just my opinion.
