I been waiting for 6 months. I try to call MD Unemployment every single day and more than 10 times a day, still no answer. Lucky, one day I got the answer but they did not help anything. They told my case is still waiting for authorities person to update. Why it took 6 month but stil not update.

I been unemployed since March 16,2021 my unemployment is keep saying it’s on hold when will y’all release my phones I need to pay my bills
I was sent the approval paperwork that is supposed to go to my employer, along with the paperwork for three other people who all work for different companies (not related to mine in anyway - one was McDonalds, one was in VA). I called my local job center for advise, and they said to return to sender - but that it could take up to three months to actually land in the correct spot.
I lost my job, my monetary determination was calculated incorrectly, and I sent them my paystubs through the beacon portal and they still have not reviewed my claim. I am unable to find a job, unemployment won't make the adjustments on my claim, meanwhile I have no money for food and bills to maintain a roof over my head. This division does not care about human beings. Their treatment and lack of regard is deplorable.
Finally had an adjucator call after 8 months. However, my phone didn't ring, it went straight to voicemail, and the message was I have 48 hours to respond to an email they were sending on an employer that I am not claiming benefits from. No email.
Right so what you have to do is be a walk in get there before 8:15AM or schedule an appointment which can take months to get into unemployment talk to a guy on video chat and phone and they will tell you someone will contact you by calling you instead of you calling them which will never work within 48 hours aka 2 days and if you miss the call you got to go back again to unemployment do the same thing to get another call back.
I been trying to call for 3 months cant get no answer and if you do get threw they tell you the same old lie that they putting in a help ticket, i cant pay any bills, its crazy, i dont know what to do..
You cannot tell me these people are not playing games. How is it that it takes longer than 2 weeks to verify a persons identity. Then if you're lucky to get someone on the phone, which is a job in itself; the talentless agents pretend as if they are your supervisor or some higher authority. Don't keep playing with me, I'll pull up. 😤
