Go in person and request a supervisor when you speak to a SSA representative.
You must go to them in person, that seems to be the only way to get your effective results... Calling don't answer your questions because you're talking to someone in another office in another state... Try going to your local office the earlier the better...
I tried calling but that's not very effective. Gather all your documentation relating to the complaint and make a trip to your local social security office. However, I filed an appeal to which they promised to respond within 60 to 90 days. They have not complied with their promise.
