I initially came here due to a corrupt landlord who wanted to evict me without cause. Without a lawyer I wasn't sure if I would have a fighting chance. I was referred to the Resource Center on the 2nd floor. There I met a wonderful lawyer by the name of Brian Rohal. For a year we fought the case. He was extremely organized, compassionate and diligent in his efforts to make sure me or my child would not face homelessness. He prevailed and won by a landslide!! Those corrupt property managers stood no chance. I will forever be grateful for the help he provided to me. Thank you Brian !!!!

My ex was abusive and after the tpo hearing I signed off on our lease to get away from him. I still haven't found a place yet the exit day is on dec 31, 2018 how long before I'm evicted?

The Marshalls have 75 days to schedule the eviction and it could occur any day during those 75 days. They will mail you a notice to let you know.
I wrote a check for $988 and the rental office only credited my acvount for $288 am i responsible for their mistake?

Not sure what you mean when you say responsible for their mistake, but a check is great evidence of your payment. With proof of your payment this accounting error should be easy to remediate.

It varies. If the apt is rent controlled there are restrictions.

I live in a building where people smoke everything in their apartment and the smell come inside my apartment. I've told the landlord and regional manager numerous of times, but they wont do anything about it. Is there anything I can do for solutions?
