I am the daughter of German Jews who fled Germany in June, 1938. I have my father's birth certificate, my parents marriage certificate, my father's German passport with J, my birth c. Do I apply for me and my brother or does he apply separately.

I have a similar background and I am going through the process of naturalization. You will have to apply separately, but I understand it is helpful if siblings cross reference each other in their applications. The respondent below clearly is unaware that the children of german jews rendered stateless by the Third Reich are, with some stipulations, entitled to apply for German citizenship. Good fortune to you.

Germany has different laws, not like the US. Even if you were born there you wouldn't qualify for a citizenship! One has to live there for at least 8 years and then apply for papers!
