Nobody picks up the phone during working hours. Very difficult as a German citizen to get help. Was wondering if the consulate is still operating.

They sent my passport with paper file which is not water resistant and very cheap. If you are giving a service please give a good service. Your service represent your country. Consulate represents its country with all aspects. I sent $100 with my application, you invited me for fingerprint(which was not expected since I had a Schengen visa before) I said I could not come right now due to work. You sent my passport with poor package and with $15. Where is my remaining money?

I have a similar background and I am going through the process of naturalization. You will have to apply separately, but I understand it is helpful if siblings cross reference each other in their applications. The respondent below clearly is unaware that the children of german jews rendered stateless by the Third Reich are, with some stipulations, entitled to apply for German citizenship. Good fortune to you.
I have the same question could you please let me know?
Peter, When I went to the Consulate, I was offered 2 choices. 1) To come pick it up personally or 2) have it sent via FedEx which costs around $20.00. The process of getting your Passport (once the decision is approved) I was told, takes 6 weeks.
Via the Internet
Street parking only for commercial vehicles or there's some parking garage in the area a little expensive
Visit the facility, they had welcome you. Germans are friendly.
Not sure. But you can call the number from google for the Consulate. They are always happy to help.
No, you can't. Only cash works
I had contacted you by phone, way back about the Hacker Jan leyk. I mad a cyberspace with the FBI.on line. Now it's a year later and I have unfortunately no results. Jan Leyk.is a well known Person from his former reality show Tag und.Nacht.in Germany. Also known as a Criminal. I believe he has moved to Spain, because Spain has no Extradition with Germany. I have a right as a Human being, to live with out being Terrorized by a hacker Jan Leyk, who has military warfare information. Especially I did some research, and come by Andy Grennberg Article from Forbes Magazine" How to hijack the Sky." I had know Idea, what a hacker can do,and how dangerous at is Evil, wicked, Veil, and anything you can think of criminal wise. We go to the Moon,I believe we can bring that Person to stop that madness. So many People getting hurt for no reason, besides myself. I was over a year ago on a blog with him.I had no knowledge about his Evil background. Sincerely Christa Boock. ur

First schedule an appointment with the consulate it take about 2 month to get an appointment
Need to apply online through the German embassy. Took about 4 months from applying until the actual date.
Hi Sabina, I think you need a negative PCR test to show at the airport in the USA. I dont think you have to quarantine. But you need to do online anl "Einreiseanmeldung" before entering Germany. Viel Glück wünsche ich Dir!!
The german consulates website has a lot of info on dual citizenship. This might help: https://www.germany.info/us-en/service/03-Citizenship/-/2124886
Afaik: no. Bundespolizei distinguishes between pressing and non-pressing reasons to enter Germany. If you intend to wed your fiancee in Germany, I think you are allowed to enter. Else they let you in as German citizen or resident or to begin employment or training. Visiting friends and family: not pressing. I live in NYC and can enter Germany as I please, but my wife, not German citizen, cannot
Go to the German House and apply for Visa to visit Germany, I will be in Berlin by November.
You must go to German Consulate, fee $70
As a legal resident you can travel as tourist 90 days without Visa, if your children is African citizen? They need to apply for a Visa

Yes, Indian citizen need a Visa transit
American citizens visiting Germany as Tourists can stay for up to a few months (details on consulate website) without a visa.
Appointments are booked online. Once done, any changes cannot be made over their website. You need to email your change request and they respond. Hence be very sure about your availability for the dates booked.
Yes
Got to fly to Germany.
You will need to apply for visa as a regular applicant. I dont think having a US GC entitles one to special accomodations for a German Visa. Things change only if you are an American Citizen. I may be wrong though. Would suggest you to call their number (found in google search) and speak to someone there. They are extremely helpful.
Call the Consulate number that you find in Google and inquire. They are very helpful over the phone as well.
If its a regular stop over at Frankfurt and you dont plan to get out of the airport to explore the city, You dont need a visa. If you plan to get out, then you will need to get a schengen visa made.
Applying for a new passport takes at least 6 weeks, not including the time for shipping in the US to my knowledge. With the public holidays between now and January 19th, it's time for the extension ...
I think you would need an appointment at the consulate in NY. You can call the number on google for more info or visit their website.
You could call the number for them on google. They will assist you with this question.
Did you succeed?
What are the hours of service in the German consulat

Yes. But this is only good for 90 days. If you plan on staying longer, some states are permitted to transfer their license. There is an exact list of which states on the FB Group Americans living/or want to in Germany.
