The room we stayed in was kept very clean and I didn't see any bugs (or get bitten by any). Not sure about the windows, but I can say that they did block out a lot of the noise of a HUGE thunderstorm directly overhead.
My room was clean! I don't have a clue about the windows
It's clean, no bugs when I was there in July. I'm not sure about high impact windows but there are overhanging walkways
