You should look into making an appointment online, get there 30 minutes before your appointment & make sure you bring your original or certified copy of your birth certificate, your social security card & proof of residency if your current ID is expired. You can print off & fill out the application ahead of time to save time just make sure you don't sign it. You won't sign it until you get there & the DPS attendant will notarized it.
