MCI is building a new single terminal structure that is due to open in March of 2023. ALL airlines, shops, and restaurants will be operating in this new space. The remaining two terminals (B and C) will be demolished.
Yes, they are building a new terminal and they are going to revamp the othe terminals one at a time.
Go to MCI website and read about the new terminal and parking. Not much has been done to the old terminals (except demolition of Term A, and traffic re-routing). Significant progress is being made on the new terminal all the time. Plans show new Term A to open "Sometime in 2023".
Yea, they are remodeling the existing terminals. I don’t have knowledge regarding additional new terminals, so I’m afraid I can’t answer that question. … I can tell you that I’m excited to see the finished airport, and I hope they leave it “as simple/easy to use, check in, and go through security as it has been for years. I live in the middle of Missouri and I typically use StL just bc it is about 30 minutes closer drive time but I much prefer the simple use of MCI over StL!
