If you plan on camping, bring your cold gear. Temps can get near freezing over night. Otherwise day time is around 50s this time of year. A bit warmer in direct sunlight.
It was cold and crisp one day, high in the 50's The next day it rained and the caves were slippery to get into Trails were fine, great to hike without overheating Check the weather and go when its clear or partly cloudy
Really cold in the bottom trails theres even ice at times since most mornings are around 37° F about 7am, then as you go up the mountains and it gets around 12am the weather is already warmer around 60°-70°F caves still are cold and some trails the sun is not present you can feel the chill but its great the steep parts will warm you up lol
Weatherunderground has a site within Pinnacles, forecasting temperatures from 72 as a high today, gradually lowering to 68 through the week. A chance of rain and temps in the mid-60's start on Tuesday, January 2nd. Evening temps are in the 40's.
Warm outside on a sunny day, extreme cold in caves this gy.
Its not bad during the day, sunny and pretty warm temps in the 60's. It is chilly in the early morning and late afternoons so I would suggest dressing in layers.
Check the weather in Soledad before you plan your day trip. It will be about the same.
Is cold especially if you go inside the caves.
