My wife found two pairs of kids' boots in the parking lot. Please contact me with a description of the boots.

So serene! My husband actually proposed here! It was perfect!

Want to explore someplace new? A quiet historical park along the scenic Potomac providing an excellent history of defending the capital and Alexandria's bustling port. The evolution of the big cannons is fascinating. The fort appears almost like a medieval castle, drawbridge and all. Lots of people picnicking and fishing along the shore. There's a picnic table along the shoreline, north end toward the city, just down from the lighthouse parking. The only reason for 4 stars is that there isn't a nice patio restaurant nearby along the Potomac, and National Harbor is usually a parking mess.

Great place to walk and relax near the water. Lots of options to sit out with a blanket, read, and picnic.

National Park service
Come on guys it's a historical place, it's going to be well worth the 5 bucks.
You would need to contact the National Park Service, but it may be possible.
That is true that side of the park The River's Edge has a lot of trash and debris I think it's hard for them to clean it all the time because overnight more stuff just washes up it's sad because there's so much plastic and trash I don't like how they close down the road on the other part of the park by the playgrounds
Absolutely, there are several. I would ensure you bring some bug repellant, and if you are walking with pets ensure they are on a leash. Enjoy the trails and sites!
No But If Your A Resident Of The Area You Can Purchase A Membership At The Marina

I would call the park and inquire with the staff.... They di have outside events...
Yes it's $ 10.00 per car, we had our family day picnic there a few weeks ago, but it's worth it because theirs the fort also fishing and nice bathrooms and plenty of walking and bike trails and it's pet friendly
