I mile away to the east. Sign on highway by east building Also some in Beatrice at City parks. Rv parking world be best at East building. Bigger area.
It often depends on how good the weather is and how deep your interest in history is. I enjoyed walking around the prairie so I would allow at least half an hour 45 minutes for that; to watch the little movie in the visitors center and explore all the exhibits, I would allow 45 to 60 minutes. To travel over to the other part of the visitors center come I would allow at least another 30 minutes If there are Craftsman demonstrating skills such as quilting, cornhusking etc, allow at least several hours there are also picnic tables where you can eat. No food served there.
