Really a very nice outdoor place, it's like traveling back in time, more specifically at the beginning of the last century, you can walk quietly, enjoy an ice cream, enjoy a live choir that gives a very festive atmosphere, but the heart This park is honestly the carousel, a faithful witness of those times when everything was simpler, we spent a very pleasant afternoon in this park, a space to relax and get out of the routine.

An obligatory visit to do with the children of the family, it begins with a visit to the Aquarium, the only place where you have to pay 8 dlrs for access, suddenly slightly expensive for the reduced space and the species, is the dilapidated barge of the pirates for the souvenir photo. There are several games for the children, fishing, sand, launches and photos with arrangements. There are several very well trained employees offering you excellent information about the species displayed there, origin, names and way of life. Before entering there is a very old wooden bridge with an imposing look at its bottom or slope. The following facilities deserve special comment. Sep 25/2022

Not sure but such sounds intereating...
No you can't
There are picnic tables, but didn't see any grills. Bring a picnic lunch,or there's a sandwich shop there.
Depends on the weather and the dance. If it is quite cold outside you will need to start with a sweater, but if it is contra or swing, you will warm up pretty quick. Layers are therefore key.
It doesn't really work that way. There are many artists working out of Glen Echo or taking classes there. It should make a little more sense if you take a look at the website
Not sure. You would need to call the park.
The Washington Conservatory of Music is located within the park. It's located on the strip between the cuddle up and the fountain.
March 14, 1961 - read the " A Summer of Change: The Civil Rights Story of Glen Echo Park" located in the History & Culture section of Glen Echo NPS.gov website site.
Still a great visit! The carousel is the only ride that is still active in this national park.
