Little crowded during the weekend because there are alot of fishermen. So I like going on the weekday when I’m off from work. I’m living in the area. This place is good for me to come out and relax. It’s beautiful place.

I loved seeing all the trails and animals. Definitely a good place to stroll. Wear good walking shoes haha!

Sometimes the Accokeek foundation accommodates visitors for the mt Vernon fireworks, and one watches them from the docks. Legally, without special permission, presence after dark is not permitted. There are other river access points which may be suitable for viewing.

There is a dock but I haven't seen a launch. I believe there is one at Ft Washington
