Wounded Warrior Project is committed to diversity, and our programs are open to post-9/11 wounded warriors of all backgrounds and genders. We realize every journey is different, so we provide services that meet warriors where they are. Warriors never pay a penny for Wounded Warrior Project programs — because they paid their dues on the battlefield. Learn more at https://www.woundedwarriorproject.org/mission.

Firstly, I want to say that I'm so sorry for your loss. The WWP help male and female warriors. The type of help she needed was probably not what they provide. However, they do steer the warrior towards organizations that can possibly help if the WWP can not. EVERY TIME I have been to a WWP event or their facility, I've seen fellow female warriors present and in equal numbers, as men. So with all do respect, as a retired/disabled Veteran, your statement, Mrs Danson, is completely wrong and before making such allegations, I sincerely believe that one should first do their research and completely understand what the organization actually does and familiarize yourself with their mission statement. But once again, so sorry for your loss.
