During peak season (June-Aug) this camp stays quite full all week but you should be able to find a spot Sunday evening - Thursday pretty reliably. There is no host so it never closes. Just show up and if a spot is available it's yours.
Open until Thursday. At that point it starts filling up. I think there are only 12 sites. We got lucky and got the last one on Thursday a couple weeks ago.
The campground is pretty self sufficient. I'm not even sure there is a host. U pay by envelope. You should be fine on weekdays but it's first come first serve so get there early. There are no amenities except for a vaulted toilet. No running water but a stream nearby. Excellent hiking trails walking distance from camp.
