So Far So Good. We Arrived Several Hours Later Than Expected To Check In. The Young Man At The Front Desk Called Several Times To See How Far Away We Were And Assured Us He Would Stay Until 10pm To Get Us Checked In 😊👍🏿. We Arrived With 10 Minutes To Spare.🙌🏿 1. The room is neat and very clean but smells a bit stale. 2. Well stocked with toiletries so no need to bring any. 3. Bed Is big and extra soft. 4. Bathroom is small but the shower/tub combo is big,very clean and the water pressure is good. 5. Price is good for our 6 day stay. 6. Refrigerator is a cute with a retro look but it wasn't cold and it doesn't have a way to make it colder. Thank goodness we brought a cooler. UPDATE: 1. Fridge Cooled off that evening and remained ice cold the remainder of our stay. 2. The hot springs hot tubs were fantastic. 3. The laundry room is easily accessible with room key. Bring your own laundry soap because the vending machine was empty. They have 1 washer and 2 dryers. A snack machine and eye machine. 4. The Staff is FANTASTIC. I recommend this lodge.

Just arrived today and we were disappointed to find all the upper walkways and tubs are closed off for renovations. The website mentioned renovations but didn’t state most of the hot springs are closed. It would have been good to know that was the case when we booked/before arriving here

I spent a weekend with the love of my life here and we enjoyed the stay. It's really nice to have the private hot springs in the back, the location is right at the end of the main street which was nice, and of course Ouray is stunning!

We’ve stayed here many times and always appreciate the complimentary robes for walking to the hot springs in the freezing cold. Apparently they no longer offer the robes - no explanation or apology given - and prices have gone up rather than offering a discount for this. Maybe it sounds petty, but I’m really disappointed in the box spring lodge. Heads up if you are looking forward to those robes. Nope. Gotta bring your own now.
