Located within walking distance from the Matterhorn Inn and other hotels in Ouray, the Gold Belt Bar had good food and good service. It was busy and I was solo so I ate at the bar. The side salad was fantastic! The pepperoni pizza was very good, I just wished they had a smaller more personal size. 12 inch was the smallest they had, since I was craving pizza I ordered it but had a lot left over.

Awesome patio restaurant off of Main Street, providing amazing views. The menu has a great selection, we got sandwiches while we were there but after ordering we wish we got a pizza because they were huge and looked really good. This is rated four stars instead of five because the waitress forgot to put our order in for 45 minutes, and we ended up being there for an hour and a half in total. We were OK with it because we were enjoying the view off of Main Street, but I did feel a little annoyed that they were not more apologetic or offer to take like 10% off the meal or something. From previous years in the service industry, a mistake like that usually has some kind of way to make it right to make up for it. If they had offered 10% off to us, we would’ve turned it down, but it’s the offer and apology we missed. It did end up taking a lot longer out of the other activities we wanted to do due to the above. Outside of that it would have been 5 stars!

We enjoyed lunch at the Goldbelt Bar and Grill. We enjoyed the outdoor sitting. We ordered a small Canadian bacon/pineapple pizza and it was huge. Carried out 1/2 for dinner. We also enjoyed the BBQ wings. They were yum! Very messy but worth it. Staff was great!

Good food, with a great vibe. The service is friendly but slow. Place is well lit and an overall good ambience. Attached is a view from outdoor seating.
