The road was a little bumpy when I was there but I had a mini van and was fine. You shouldn't have any problems -but there is another camp ground further up that's a little more level, if you do.
The road isn't bad at all. I seen several people camping out of their cars
I think there was a campground further up the road with easier spots to get to. You might try looking into that campground.
I made it all the way to the back of the campground with careful driving in a car with 7 inches of clearance. You can park just off the main road and pack in but it's quite a walk.
