Stayed for 6 days last week. Some areas are showing wear and tear but our room was bright and new. We were on the 5th floor. Everyone was really helpful and pleasant. The boat service to Hollywood studios may not be running yet but there is bus service. Parking is 24 bucks a day and valet is 33. Honestly given the walk to parking I would pay the extra 9 bucks and valet, I did. They bring your car up as much as you want for free. Resort fee was 27 bucks a day but was included in our Costco package. It's quite far from Magic kingdom but close to the other three, including walking distance to epcot. No issues with it just make sure you ask for a room that has been redone.
Just know that the resorts brand name is going to cost more. Food is outrageous we used uber eats and saved us money
I stayed there two weeks ago and it's a low cost hotel because it isn't a real Disney hotel, in the room I stayed there were some issues with the bath door, I have say the bathroom is SMALL, you can't open the door completely because you are going to hit the bathtub, but the room has a very decent size... I have some issues with the cleaning, but I'm a little bit weird about that... You shouldn't buy a magic band unless you want a souvenir, the hotel... You can't pay at the parks whit it, because neither the dolphin or the swan are can manage the park's charges onto your room.
Just left there and it was fine, not brand new, but fine by me
we were just there last week, and there were no renovations of any kind going on. it is an older Resort it's been there since the 90s at least, but I thought that it was in great shape. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.
We just stayed there 6.2.18 and there are no renovations happening. The entry/commons area are gorgeous but other wings of the hotel are showing a bit of wear i.e. the carpets in the hall to out room had started to fade where people walk in the center. The rooms are in good condition, but you can see weathering outside the building. If you found a good deal on this hotel I would certainly recommend it. Also the multi-pool and hot tub oasis is really awesome and has free towel service. If you are renting a car make sure to get the discounted parking that comes with room rental rather than paying extra for non staying cars.
I stayed there a week ago & no major renovations going on. If any, of wasnt obvious. It is a nice place & as the other person mentioned..you do have to pay for parking ea.night. Believe it was about $25 a night(we had a discount bc we were there for a convention).
Resort fee is like 100 and parking is like 35 per day. Its not cheap at all. Its quite expensive actually. Cheap disney hotel are the Music, movie and pop. They arr around90 a night
I stayed there about 3 weeks ago and everything seemed normal
I just stayed there, and no i cannot find an explanation why it was cheaper. Remember, there will be resort fees and parking, per day, tacked onto the nightly rate.
My biggest issue is that the WDW magic bands don't link to your room. If i would have known that i might have booked elsewhere but if course they don't tell you they aren't an official Disney hotel until after the fact unless you ask first.
