No ticket needed - was there Monday afternoon (December 21st). Virtually no-one there!!! A bit eerie actually.

No. It's free entry. However, due to COVID-19, there might a line depending on the time of day
No tickets. We went around 7:30 pm. Go to line up. Looks like long line but it went quick, only took us 15 mins. Very well organized. Small group went with social distance to the front of the tree only allowed about 15 mins to take pictures, etc. Not crowded and managed to take great pictures. Much better than previous years, so crowded, most of the time you can't go to the front to take good pictures.
You have to make an appointment for ice skating. They have police regulating the crowds if any and while I was there the cops escorted three people out because they would not wear there masks
We didn't have to get tickets to see the tree. Stand in line 5 mins.
Must reserve, their season is shorter this year, capacity is limited and we are in high season. Most weekends are booked a week in advanced
