Stopped by to visit the monument today and access was fenced off - curious as to what the scope of work is and timeline for access to be restored?

Hi Jess, As of currently there is no timeline for the restoration. The fence is there to protect the public from falling granite debris as the structure of the monument is no longer sound. Due to lack of funding, the project date is unknown. Hope someone starts a crowd source so we can enjoy this beautiful place.
