I have a HP Pavillion dv6-6153 cl entertainment PC.Can I bring it to Micro Center for an internal upgrade or should I look at purchasing a new one? It's used for programs like Revitt and Cadd.

Off the top of my head I don't know the specifications. However you'd be surprised at how long like the other gentleman was saying an SSD would go towards performance as well as maxing out the memory for as old as I suspected it is. Also give the inside of the case a cleaning as enclosed heat can also stress Hardware.
